Churro Cheesecake Bars
Ingredients
- 2 crescent sheets - like these
- 2–8oz packages of cream cheese, room temperature
- 1 cup granulated sugar, divided in 1/2 cups
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp vanilla - measure with your heart
- 2 tbsp ground cinnamon
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350°F and spray the baking dish with cooking spray - set aside.
- In a small mixing bowl combine 1/2 cup sugar, and cinnamon.
- Using half of the cinnamon and sugar mixture coat the bottom of the baking dish. Make sure to cover every square inch.
- Unroll one of the crescent sheets and lay it within the baking dish. Again making sure it covers the whole pan.
- In a large mixing bowl whisk together the egg, cream cheese, vanilla, and 1/2 cup sugar. Whisk until no large clumps of cream cheese are present. 1
- Using the spatula evenly spread the cream cheese mixture on top of the dough.
- Open and unroll the second crescent sheet, place on top of the cream cheese mixture.
- Utilizing the remainder of the cinnamon and sugar mix, coat the top of the dough evenly.
- Place in 350°F oven for 30 minutes, let cool then cut into bars and serve.
Notes
- You can also utilize a hand mixer if you’re feelin' frisky.
